The 27 th UAE edition of the popular 'Worldwide Property Show' is on at the Grand Hyatt Dubai until May 15, 2005 , with 60 international realtors and developers exhibiting premium residential properties in 18 global markets. The event is an ideal forum for UAE nationals and expatriates who wish to purchase a holiday home/second home or invest in the real estate market – around the world and in Dubai .

In its first day, the event has proven to be extremely popular with Dubaiians, attracting hundreds of visitors including investors, individuals and families looking for luxurious homes, modern apartments, vacation cottages, beach houses, country abodes, mountain retreats and more. More than 1000 properties in varying types, styles, budgets and locations are being exhibited at the event.

According to organiser Mike Bridge, Regional Sales Director at Dubai Shows, Dubai's status as a red-hot freehold property market was attracting several visitors: "Of our 60 exhibitors, as many as 10 include freehold residences in Dubai in their portfolio – clearly indicating the city's continuing popularity in the property market. While most visitors tend to look at homes in their native countries or in time-tested property markets like France, Spain and the UK, there are several hundred visitors who are drawn to the exhibition to find a home right here in Dubai. With an array of choices displayed under one roof, it is an ideal forum for visitors to decide and purchase/invest in Dubai 's freehold market," he said, adding that the emerging global markets of the Dominican Republic and Morocco were also key highlights.

Bridge stated that the bi-annual 'Worldwide Property Show' , now in its 27th edition in the UAE, continues to be one of the most successful exhibitions for the company, both in terms of exhibitors and participants. "The Worldwide Property Show is designed to benefit both sellers and buyers, and narrow the physical and virtual distances between them. This exhibition presents some of the leading players in the international property market right here in Dubai, and allows visitors to identify, select and buy a house in a country of their choice - be it Spain, England, Switzerland, France or Morocco."

The Worldwide Property Show is being held at the Baniyas Grand Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai until May 15, between 11.00 am to 9.00 pm . Entry to the event is free.
