Dubai R&R is a forum for broad spectrum of realtors, say organisers.
Dubai Shows to exclusively address resale and rental property markets.
Dubai, March 2005 – Leading property exhibition company Dubai Shows has announced an exclusive event to address the resale and rental market in Dubai, scheduled to be held on March 24 and 25. Entitled Dubai R&R - The Resale and Rental Show, it is the UAE's first exhibition dedicated to resale and rental properties and will offer local developers and estate agents a unique opportunity to showcase their portfolios under one roof
Announcing details of the two-day event, Mike Bridge, Regional Sales Director of Dubai Shows, emphasised that the exhibition was designed to make a difference to Dubai's burgeoning property rental market, as well as its newly emerging freehold resale market. "As in other mature markets, the secondary market in Dubai helps drive property prices. While many Dubai residents see commercial sense in buying a home rather than renting it, many thousand others cannot wait for their homes to be built - they need to be able to see their homes immediately and re-locate within weeks rather than months. There are also the great numbers of residents who choose to live in rented apartments and villas, and would like to see as many options as available. Dubai R&R is designed to address their specific needs of immediacy, time and budget constraints, and availability of multiple choices," he explained.
"The exhibitors participating in Dubai R&R will have three-pronged benefits: they can sell their freehold properties, lease out their rental properties, or procure properties from landlords and investors in an interactive and innovative fashion," said Bridge. "Much as residents now make decisions browsing through realty classified advertisements, this is a forum to make it all come alive," he stated, adding that exhibitors could also take advantage of the event to publicise their portfolios and meet and interact with other industry professionals.
He confirmed that several leading realtors like Asteco, Pegasus, Landmark, Dubai Land, Paradise, Vista and City Tower had already booked their participation at the event.
Jane Woods, Manager of Asteco commented: "We understand only too well that in a busy city like Dubai, residents don't always have the time to scour the market and study the options available to them before they make a decision to move house. We will be showing ways in which Asteco can assist both the tenant and the landlord with various services and products. For Asteco, the R&R event is an obvious and comprehensive location in which to reach people who are interested in property in Dubai," she stated.
Mike Bridge urged residents to visit the event to be able to choose from the large bouquet of properties on display. "The combined offerings of all our exhibitors will range from small studio apartments to palatial seven-bedroom villas, and freehold properties that are ready for immediate occupation. This is also a great event for property owners and developers to meet real estate agencies with a view to leasing or renting their properties," he stated. The Dubai R&R Show will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the weekend of March 24 and 25 to maximise convenience for visitors. The official media sponsors of the event are Gulf News, Dubai Eye and IN TV. More details can be had by contacting mike@dubaishows.com
