The organizers of the Worldwide Property
& Investment Show, Dubai Shows, have announced that they
are doubling the size of the event, to cope with demand!
The show now in its 13th season, is the longest
running real estate exhibition in the UAE.
It is returning to the Grand Hyatt Dubai on Thursday
1st-Saturday 3rd November 2007, and will be taking over 4,000m2
at the 5 star hotel.
George Betz, Sales Director at UK based organizers
Dubai Shows Ltd said, “We are now established as the event for overseas
developers and agents to visit the city. In the past we have attracted
over 65 companies from over 25 countries, including of course UAE
developers and agents. Now we are getting more and more requests
from locally based exhibitors who are aware of the potential of
exhibiting alongside their foreign colleagues in the property business.”
With the market, particularly in the UAE becoming
more competitive, many of our clients have requested that we take
our property exhibitions further a field not only to sell to investors
but more importantly to meet leading local agents to secure valuable
ongoing business. By joining our Worldwide Property & Investment
Show with the established Property Arabia show at the Bahrain Exhibition
Centre on October 24th-27th 2007, we expect the buyers and investors
from Saudi and Bahrain to flock to the 4 day event. Finally with
the recent law allowing Koreans to invest up to US$3million per
person in overseas properties coupled with China’s booming economy,
we felt it was an excellent time to take our show to Seoul and China
this winter.
This year the organizers have taken all the available
space at the Grand Hyatt’s Convention Centre doubling the size of
the show. They are also launching the first Finance Forum to be
held in the city, to enable buyers and investors to meet all the
leading banks, mortgage brokers, lawyers and tax specialists.
The Financial Forum will take place within the
Worldwide Property & Investment Show. There will
be regular free workshops and clinics covering mortgage advice,
currency and tax implications, offshore companies plus wealth management.
Mike Bridge, Director of Dubai Shows said, “Finding
the right finance package is as important as finding a suitable
property, so by inviting the banks and brokers to participate widens
the appeal of the event. Wealth management and tax issues are also
of great interest to many of our expatriate visitors, so we expect
the financial workshops to be packed!”
Sherwoods International the real estate agents
will be promoting their international developments, plus their UAE
portfolio of off plan and resale residential and commercial Real
Estate at the show.
Iseeb Rehman, the company’s CEO said, “Sherwoods
have participated in all these shows since way back in 1996. Although
they may not be the biggest property events in town, they have been
extremely successful for us. People need time to meet the exhibitors
especially from overseas, and the Grand Hyatt is the perfect 5 star
venue to meet serious investors.”
The organizers are also running shows in Bahrain,
Seoul, Beijing and London during the second half of 2007.
